Happy Retirement Phil!

Last month marked General Manager, Phil Moran’s last month at Noosa Landcare. We’re thrilled for Phil as he steps into retirement and wish him many joyful days ahead. Whether he’s spending time on his bush block, taking walks with his dog Daisy (Labrador X Angel), growing vegetables for his family, or enjoying the mangroves, we know he’ll make the most of it.

We honoured Phil’s leadership, mentorship, and immense positive impact on our local environment and community with a small gathering at our Pomona office during his last week at Noosa Landcare.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this a special send-off for Phil! We apologize that we couldn’t invite everyone, as we know many would have loved to share their gratitude and well wishes.

We also would like to extend our thanks to all our members, partners and clients that sent in messages and photos to contribute to Phil’s gift. The photo and message book were an impressive 68 pages long, a true testament to the impact Phil has had across our community.

Luckily, Phil won’t be a stranger! He’ll remain on our Management Committee going forward and always be an active member of Noosa Landcare.

Phil, you are true Landcare Legend! Thank you for everything you have done for this organisation, our staff, members, community and of course the environment. You have left a mighty big legacy!

Thank you to trainee, Jaxon, for capturing this special event for Phil.
