Since 2021, Noosa and District Landcare has been participating in the Business Chamber Queensland ecoBiz sustainability program in partnership with the Queensland Government. We have been fortunate to access personalised coaching from the ecoBiz team to help our organisation and business achieve our sustainability goals by reducing water and energy consumption, reduce our waste, manage carbon emissions and improve resource efficiency and sustainability.

From our initial audit, Noosa Landcare has been working towards a number of goals to help reduce our consumption of water, waste and energy. Each year we receive an assessment from the wonderful ecoBiz team to see how we are tracking.

Excitingly last month, our organisation became an ecoBiz 2-Star Partner of the ecoBiz program, after Noosa Landcare demonstrated a reduction in our energy use and waste over the past 12months.

And we won’t stop there! We are continuing to look into new ways to reduce our consumption further.
