Hinter Hub – Hinterland Inspiration Centre

We closed down our retail plant outlet when Covid – 19 first hit and retracted plant sales to online and phone orders with pick-up via our production nurseries. We then took the opportunity to redevelop and upgrade our retail outlet while we were closed. Upgrades take time, however we believe it has opened at the perfect time for our little community of Pomona.

This historic building, which was originally the Skyring Creek School building, was relocated to its present site in the early 1980’s. It fell into our care in 1993. With the generous help of the Noosa Community Training Centre and their Skilling Queenslanders for Work Consruction team, as well as the many staff members of Noosa Landcare, we have transformed the building into the Hinter Hub, an outdoor inspiration centre for locals and visitors to enjoy.

Local artisans and sustainable product makers have been invited to stock the Hinter Hub with their wares. We have been blown away with the creativity and quality of the products being produced in the hinterland and encourage everyone to get behind our local ‘makers.’ Covid, with all its negatives, has certainly enabled many to explore their passions and get the creative juices flowing again.

Come in and be inspired!
