Applications for our Cert 1 Conservation and Ecosystem Management traineeship now open

Want to grow your knowledge and skills in natural resource management? Why not join our next Cert 1 Conservation and Ecosystem Management trainee team. Applications are now open. 
 
This 22 week traineeship program is designed for people currently unemployed OR underemployed (working less than 15 hours per week). No prior knowledge or experience is needed to apply and participate in this traineeship. Work uniform, including work boots and hand tools, are provided for employees.
The traineeship provides introductory training in revegetation and weed control works, native plant nursery production, plant identification, conservation practices and more. This is a wonderful gateway program providing you some valuable foundations in natural resource management and a start to your employment journey in this industry.
We welcome applications from unemployed persons including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, school leavers, parents and carers returning to work, mature age job seekers, those where English is a second language, and those with a disability.
The program will start 17th July 2023 and runs for 22 weeks. This is a temporary permanent position with training provided to assist your transition to ongoing employment. Wages paid under Schedule E (National Training Wage) of the Miscellaneous Award.
